The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

Elk Ridge Trail rides is located just off the highway on your way to or from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Plan to make a day of it...enjoy the sights of the canyon and then get a closer look at the surrounding area from horseback. To see the Black Canyon from horseback, we now offer rides to the rim of the Black Canyon. This is about a 4 hour ride. Bring a sack lunch and drinks in plastic containers to enjoy yourself on the ride. Views are spectacular, a great way to spend your day!
